Personal Progression Board gives insights in personal progress on learning goals and soft-skills. In groups processes in education or companies it is often impossible for the teacher or manager to monitor what everyone is learning or adds to the learning process of others.
In PPB it is possible to create a group with unique learning aims. Participators can appreciate each other per learning aim. The progress of each individual becomes transparent for the participator himself, for the other group members and for the teacher or manager.
PPB can only be used in combination with a PPB administrator account. From this account a teacher or manager can:
- Create groups
- Describe learning aims
- Invite group members
- Manage groups
- Monitor progress of each individual
- Send group messages
- Download learning analytics
Group members get an invitation through mail to install PPB on their own device. From that moment on they can credit their peers on the defined learning aims.
When a groep member credits someone he or she is always asked for a motivation to accompany the credit given. The number of credits combined with these motivations gives insight in the personal progress per learning aim.
Each participant can grow from basic to expert level on every learning aim. This gives the participants a clear and actual view on their current profile.
Particularly in group processes it is important that participants not only have, but also show their qualities. If this doesn’t happen the group cannot reach its full potential and the individual members cannot learn from each other. PPB invites all members to share their knowledge and knowhow in an intuitive way.
PPB facilitates a learning group process in which peer learning, responsibility and intrinsic motivation are more important than the knowledge and judgement of a teacher or manager.
